It’s truly a privilege for me, to bear witness to both sides of life; the light and the dark and everything in between. . .

—Boston based creative and maker of art. Will travel wherever you take me-anywhere it takes to capture genuine love.

As far back as I can remember, I have had a crippling fear of forgetting. Forgetting the stories, the moments, the shape of my grandmothers face, and the tan on my grandfathers hands. I never wanted to forget all of the things that made them my people. The laughs and the comfort of the homes they provided for me will never be forgotten. When it came time for my two favorite people to pass, many years apart, I realized that with all the memories we store in our heart and soul, the only thing we have left of them is photographs. Still moments frozen in time.

I love looking at photos with my kids now, old photos that spark stories I would have otherwise forgotten about. Evidence that Mom was once thin and cool- evidence of life. Of a life well lived, good times had, and love thrown around like confetti.

I work full time as an EMT in the city of Boston and have spent the last 14 years in emergency medical services and public safety. The things we see day to day are things most people wouldn’t want to remember. Hearing peoples love stories, pregnancy announcements, engagements, weddings and families filled with love brings such joy to an otherwise dark world. It’s truly a privilege for me, to bear witness to both sides of life; the light and the dark and everything in between.
